The Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems (RAINS) is a Ghanaian registered non-governmental organization founded in 1993 to promote the rights of marginalized groups in society. With roots deeply anchored in Northern Ghana, RAINS has a proud history of pioneering community-driven initiatives that uplift children, women, and vulnerable populations. From advancing girl child education and combating child labour to empowering women and youth, RAINS has consistently created pathways for social inclusion, resilience, and sustainable development. We work alongside communities, government agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners to build lasting change, one community at a time. RAINS continues to be a catalyst for inclusive growth, ensuring that the most vulnerable are not left behind.
RAINS works with communities, social movements and development partners to take action to improve the quality of life for all people facing barriers especially young people.
RAINS envisions a just society that is based on equity with equal opportunities for all and respect for diversity.
