About Me
Hardi Tijani serves as the Executive Director of the Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems (RAINS), a Ghanaian non-governmental organization committed to empowering marginalized communities across Northern Ghana. An alumnus of Central University in Accra, Mr. Tijani brings over a decade of experience in community development, education advocacy, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods.
Under his leadership, RAINS has strengthened its role as a catalyst for social inclusion and resilience, implementing programs that promote regenerative agriculture, food security, gender equality, and education. Notably, he led RAINS in donating 10,000 Ghana Cedis to the University for Development Studies’ Students’ Financial Aid Scheme, demonstrating his deep commitment to supporting access to higher education for brilliant but needy students.
Mr. Tijani actively fosters partnerships with both local and international organizations to amplify impact. He has collaborated with initiatives such as Lead For Ghana to offer leadership opportunities to young people and chaired the launch of the ‘Social Inclusion and Accountability through Children Assemblies’ project, promoting civic education among school pupils.
A passionate advocate for youth and gender empowerment, he has contributed to national conversations, including speaking engagements at the Annual SDGs Summit hosted by the University for Development Studies, emphasizing the reduction of inequalities and the promotion of gender equality.
Through visionary leadership, a belief in community-led development, and a commitment to integrating indigenous knowledge with modern practices, Hardi Tijani continues to drive transformative change, helping RAINS build a future where every individual enjoys dignity, opportunity, and resilience.
