Call for Applications: SEAL Project Training Opportunities for Youth
The SEAL Project aims to equip young people in Northern Ghana with practical, market-relevant skills, certification, and opportunities for decent employment or self-employment. Over the next two years, the project will reach 500 youth across Tamale Metropolis, Sagnarigu Municipal, and Nanumba South District.
Who Can Apply?
Tamale Metropolis & Sagnarigu Municipal
- Youth aged 15–35 who are not in school, training, or employment (NEET)
- Young people interested in acquiring construction skills in Plumbing, POP, Tile Laying and Electricals
- Youth with existing construction skills but without formal certification
Nanumba South District
- Young women aged 15–25, especially school dropouts or those who never attended school
- Interested in short-term livelihood skills training in:
- Hair braiding and make-up
- Sandals making
- Soap and detergent production
- Baking and pastry
What You Will Gain
- Practical training from skilled trainers and TVET-accredited institutions
- Apprenticeships and mentorships with master craft persons
- Certification support for prior learning in construction
- Soft skills in job readiness, financial literacy, and business development
- Linkages to jobs, markets, and start-up opportunities
