Building Resilient Communities Through Partnership, Equity and Opportunity

For more than 32 years, Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems (RAINS) has partnered with communities across Northern Ghana to improve lives through education, climate resilience, peacebuilding, livelihoods, governance and youth empowerment.

Our Story

For over 32 years, the Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems (RAINS) has partnered with communities across Northern Ghana to advance social justice, improve lives, and create opportunities for people facing barriers.

Our journey began with a commitment to expanding access to quality education for girls, leading to the establishment of Tamale Girls Senior High School in 1998, the first girls’ senior high school in Northern Ghana.

Today, RAINS works with communities, government, development partners, and civil society to promote quality education, climate resilience, peacebuilding, good governance, sustainable livelihoods, and youth empowerment.

Driven by human rights, inclusion, and strong partnerships, we continue building just, resilient, and inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
