Welcome to RAINS, the Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems. We are a non-government organisation (NGO) working mainly in the Northern Region of Ghana, founded in 1996 to deal with a wide range of problems affecting developing countries. Our focus is on the integrated nature of development: by adopting a cross-disciplinary approach we hope to achieve real sustainable development within the areas in which we work. 

Our mission:

RAINS is working with local communities and Development Partners to improve the quality of life of women, the youth and other vulnerable groups through Grassroots Institutional Capacity Building, the promotion of human rights and sustainable use and management of resources in a culturally sensitive manner.
